Before I got my new watch I was sleeping through up to 5 alarms. I would snooze in my sleep and over sleep. I really like this watch. Its saved me a few good mornings. The shock feature works and its adjustable so I really hope that this watch will last a few good years.
I suck at waking up, so when this watch availed itself, I was excited to try it. So far so good! I have accidentally “stimulated” my brain with it a couple of times but it really does the trick to knock out any drowsy behavior.
The best product ever helps me wake up without waking up the whole family really like the fact that there is a clock and the battery life last for 7 days like they say if you need a good way to wake up and still want to watch basic watch then I would buy this
Amazing purchase! Spent my whole life having trouble waking up to alarms, this is the only thing that has ever worked for me. I’m excited to see how my life looks a year from now with these extra hours in the morning
Really enjoying the watch, though the strap feels noticeably smaller than the previous pavlok watch I had, but still fits regardless, the additional shock options are really cool and interesting, the BPM tracker feels a bit inconsistent but otherwise really nice to keep an eye on
I mostly love being able to turn the alarms off through the watch itself
I love this watch! It is great for heavy sleepers and silent for partners. The app functions that make you do puzzles to prevent snoozing are top notch! Customer service also is on point! They have fixed every issuem The only thing I wish I knew, is it is extremely sensitive to moisture. I am on my 4th replacement, and could never figure out how it acted like it was exposed to water - without ever actually being exposed to water. I always take it off to shower, havent been rained on, haven't swam, didnt drop it. The website says IP67 water resistant and in some places waterproof (i knew that one was not correct). Turns out being in a steamy bathroom can cause it to malfunction and turn to a brick. Maybe as the air cools tiny droplets condense inside, I really don't know. I never would expect that, as even old school cell phones weren't that sensitive. That said, I love the features and Im just going to wear it at night, keep it on my nightstand, and enjoy it as an alarm. To others, enjoy this watch but be extra careful with any hint of moisture in the air, on it, or near it.
Revolutionary watch for people who have trouble waking up and also for training your brain with immediate negative or positive stimulus to recondition yourself.
experience feels shocking and extreme my heart races, your senses heighten, and it takes a moment to recover.
It’s a powerful experience that can feel scary at first, but also unforgettable.
It feels intense and overwhelming at first, like a sudden rush through my whole body.
I originally ordered the watch during Black Friday sales and it took a lot longer to arrive than stated. Unfortunately, it got lost in transit. By the time I contacted them to resolve the issue it had been quite some time. However, they were very quick to identify the problem, send out a replacement and gave me a courtesy refund for the extra watch strap as an apology. I received the watch within a couple of days of that interaction. The watch functions as intended, sending an electric shock to wake me up early in the morning when I’m far too tired to get out of bed. Great job!.
Works great as a wake up call! The feature that makes you do a puzzle or jumping jacks to turn the alarm off is a lifesaver and is what really forces me awake.
I’m impressed with this watch and like it so far. Accidentally shocked myself 2x but that’s okay bc it allowed me to adjust the shock strength. Right now sitting at 10% so have plenty of room to adjust as needed. I’m hard to wake up and sleep right through my alarms, but needed this for upcoming internship etc. Only complaint it does disconnect from time to time but so simple to repair, even with the disconnection the settings stay the same each time and it still is monitoring and works. Thank you for this brilliant invention.
I have had the watch on my arm for almost 72 hours. So far battery life lives up to the hype. I use the flash light alot when I wake up. There are different color lights I use red to not wake my partner. The heart rate monitor only checks your heart rate every ten minutes unless you go in and manually measure it. I like to see a live heart rate while I am running or working out to control my heart rate. The zap feature will 100% wake you up. There is no doubt in my mind that if you are a heavy sleeper like me it will 100% wake you up. The watch waits for you to drift into a lighter sleep and will wake you up around the time frame you want to get up and its actually easier to wake up with it. That may not of made sense but take my word for it and I would recommend to a friend and family.
This is hands down the absolute best purchase I could’ve ever made! This is literally the only thing that has woken me up in my life and has kept me awake! I have gone through so many different alarm clocks and I’ve tried so many different things and this is the only one that has worked! I will never use anything else after now. Thank you for making this as I now wake up in the mornings and I am no longer late for work!
Love the feature of the zapper to wake me up im a very heavy sleeper and this has been one of the only products that has been effective so far ive only been using it for a week so we'll see i am disappointed i can get access to monitoring of certain health things except after sleeping like bpm and heart rate woukd be nice to access from watch or app
The hardware of the Shock Clock MAX is very impressive.
It could have so many features that it would be the best watch on the market. But only if normal software is implemented.
In reality, we have a terrible and useless software that can do nothing. The only usage scenario of this watch is an alarm clock to wake up on time.
1. The Shock Clock Max CANNOT measure your heart rate throughout the day. I can't figure out why...
When you go into sleep mode, it measures it, and does it well. But, for example, when I exercise and also want to measure my heart rate - it watches can't do it. Absolutely all cheap, Chinese fitness bracelets that cost $30-50 can measure your heart rate whenever you want. But the Shock Clock MAX, which costs $200, can't.
2. This watch cannot synchronize with my phone. I wrote to support about this and they confirmed that it is not possible. And that it's not even in their Roadmap. I don't understand the problem of getting the watch to synchronize with a phone that is connected via bluetooth.... Not being able to do such an elementary thing is absurd. Although, despite the assurances of the support team, I found a way to do something similar to synchronization. In order for it to send some data to your phone, you need to go to the watch menu, and press Nap -> Start. After that, you need to lie still for about 5 minutes so that the watch thinks you went to bed. And only after that, the data (In a very buggy way) will be sent to the phone. For example, I had my sleep split into two parts, and half of the sleep went to tomorrow.
3. step tracker. It also can't sync information with my phone. But in the watch I can see the number of my steps. What's the problem with sending a step counter to my phone? It's 3-5 lines of code.

Perhaps someday in the future Pavlok will rewrite their software and make this watch usable and able to perform its basic functions. And on that day, I will rate this watch 5 stars. But today... No.
At first I was going to give it 1 star. But I added another one for the very good wake-up system. But that's their only plus at the moment.
If Pavlok doesn't want to rewrite the software, they can put the whole firmware in OpenSource. To allow enthusiasts and programmers to write their own firmware, as people will want it.
The pavlok shock clock max has been a great gift that i received for christmas and has been an essential part of my everyday life including starting new habits and goals and as well as breaking older bad habits. Highly recommend if your looking for a positive change in your life!
The Shock Clock Max is an amazing concept! Makes sure you wake up on time with a zap, helps you build good habits and beak old ones with said zaps, heart rate monitor, step counter, time, date backlit display, well built, type c charging ( included with an adapter which is awesome!) and its comfortable. Then you may be asking why 3 stars? Well cause its just that, a great CONCEPT. Not all the features have been released yet( like wake up guarantees) and they have been hardware malfunctions like separating screens and the watches no longer zapping after a week of use. It is new and will get better. But if you want something now, id advice one of Pavlok's other products while this is baking. Once perfected it'll be an absolute banger( not glazing)! But till then either your willing to tuff it out till then (the Pavlok team is super cool and helpful) or use something else until this is up and running as intended. All in all, the shock clock max is a journey, not a final destination.
It helps.. my husband has struggled with waking up his whole life (he sleeps through fire alarms), and now that we have a 3 month old using tons of loud alarms is not an option. It does help him get up, but still won’t wake him up entirely. (He hasn’t tried the shock at 100% yet) He likes the screen and additional buttons since his problem with the previous watch was that it was very reliant on the app, and the app would frequently freeze or disconnect. My only issue is the quality of the screen and buttons. The buttons are squishy, and sometimes are hard to tell if you’ve actually pushed them. The images on the indiegogo campaign make it look like it has a nice sleek screen, but in reality this screen looks more like my 90’s flip phone than anything from this decade. (Picture attached to show what the screen is REALLY like). This product has a LOT of potential and is the only thing on the market like it, but for $200 I’d expect a better screen and better feeling buttons.
After setup and a few days of testing, I can safely say this is a wonderful new product from Pavlok. I've been using the Shock Clock 2 for a while now and the latest Pavlok Shock Clock Max is very promising. Not having to use the app to set up my alarms, tracking sleep right on the watch, the different light options, faces and tunes (Rick Astley, anyone?) are a total quality of life improvement. I am looking forward to all the features coming up!
Great device. No issues or complaints so far, it's fairly simple and easy to wrap your head around. Lots of zap settings, I'm an extremely heavy sleeper and it wakes me up. 10/10 would recommend for heavier and lighter sleepers.
I love it. I had one of the first ones y’all made. And I absolutely love it now that’s gotta watch. You can tell the time he tells your steps your heartbeat. You’re stressed that everything I love it and it gets me up in the morning cause I sleep like the dead. It is one of the best alarm clock I’ve ever used is the only thing that will get me up and you can ask my husband I have ADHD and I drive him crazy especially in the mornings when I’m a grouch and a grump and then I’m continuing all day because I have ADHD. Now my husband, but I do his wife Peyton.
Shocking works well. Bluetooth connectivity is not so good. Some menus don't seem to work as expected. Tried adjusting shock strength on my watch but it seemed to adjust vibration instead.
I wish I didn't need the app. I really got this so that I don't need to use the connected app.
The main goal was to shock me awake and it does that well. So, overall the goal was achieved.
It works great! For about a month. Then it’ll never charge again and youre out 200$+ shipping. I never got it wet left in a hot area always kept a good charge and it just decided to not work anymore Filed for a refund dont waste your money

The Pavlok has been nice to use but hasn't lived up to my expectations. When you are setting the shock strength, there is a test button which one would presume would shock at the level you just set, but instead it just vibrates the watch. In order to feel the new setting you have to exit out to the main page and press the shock button. The alarm is also very unreliable, I have it set to go off every morning and it hasn't on most days. I have even woken up before and waited for the alarm but nothing appears except a prompt asking if I want to save sleep data. Finally, the shocks are very inconsistent (probably has more to do with variable conductivity of skin) and this has resulted in both shocks not being felt as well as shocks that were overpowered. The battery life is great though even if it doesn't server the purpose I purchased it for.
The watch does what it says it will do, shockwise. But I've had ongoing issues with the app, which at first didn't sync and now won't even connect to the watch. Support has been responsive but something as basic as Bluetooth syncing shouldn't even be an issue in 2026. I don't necessarily regret the purchase but I can't say I'm blown away by the value, either.
The shocking feature definitely gets me out of bed, so I am overall happy with this purchase. The jumping jack feature is not good at reading all my jumping jacks, but that doesn't bother me much because it just means I burn a few more calories in the morning. The more frustrating issue is that the bluetooth needs to constantly be unpaired and repaired to work. Nonetheless, the core features work well enough that I'm pleased.
