The Ultimate Alarm Clock Solution For The Hearing Impaired… That Won’t Rock The House

Ah…

The alarm clock.

Out of the many challenges you face with your hearing disability / impairment, chances are high how you wake up in the morning continues to be a major struggle in your daily life.

Isn’t it funny how we can send a rover to Mars successfully, but we haven’t been able to create an effective alarm clock solution for the hearing impaired?

It seems that with millions of people around the world having some sort of hearing disability, someone, somewhere would have created the perfect solution.

Sure….

Some alarm clocks on the market today will wake you up, but they often set off a mini earthquake throughout your home in the process. (If you’re a spouse of someone who has limited hearing, you know exactly what I mean.)

You may be used to the house rocking vibrations, but your alarm clock shouldn’t need to wake up your signifiant other and everyone else in the house.

There’s another major downside of alarms clocks for the hearing impaired… their not portable!

At home you may have the perfect setup to get up on time, but what if you decide to stay at your partners place? Or have spur of the moment adult sleep over.

How about when you travel?

Should you be forced to carry your bulky vibration alarm with you?

If only there were a better way…

A Little Bit About Me (and why it’s relevant to you)

Hi my name is Maneesh Sethi, founder and CEO of Pavlok, a behavioral change company I started to help people improve their habits and reach their full potential.

In 2013 I made headlines around the world when I decided to hire a woman off Craigslist’s to watch me work throughout the day and slap me when I became distracted.

It’s no surprise I didn’t particularly enjoy being slapped in the face each time I checked social media, and on that day I was more productive than before.

My personal experiment in productivity ultimately lead me to create the worlds first wearable to help people transform their habits. I even had the opportunity to pitch my idea on Shark Tank. (Can remove.)

Over the last 5+ years we’ve helped literally thousands of people become better versions of themselves.

We’ve helped people quit smoking, lose weight, become more positive, and more.

Now you may be wondering, what does building better habits have to do with an alarm clock for people with impaired hearing?

Funny you ask.

When we first launched the original Pavlok many of our users used their device to break bad habits.

But as the company grew, our community also began using the features of Pavlok to help wake up and start the morning strong.

Many members of the Pavlok community began using their device exclusively as an alarm clock, which is why we added the Shock Clock to the Pavlok family.

But even with the success of the original Shock Clock worldwide, I wasn’t expecting to get an email like this:

Subject: this is the best alarm clock I’ve used as someone who is deaf.

Why The Shock Clock 2 Is The Best Alarm Clock For The Hearing Impaired

It makes sense….

The Shock Clock 2 isn’t like other alarm clocks you’ve tried. Other alarms rely on annoying you until you give up and get out of bed – awake — but now in a terrible mood because of your annoying alarm.

That is NOT how you want to start your day.

Often, a simple touch can work much better strong vibrations that rock the house.

Unlike many of the alarm clocks on the market today for the hearing impaired, with the Shock Clock 2 you don’t have to worry about forgetting your alarm at home.

You don’t have to worry about the strong vibrations waking up your signifiant other.

The Pavlok Shock Clock 2 is the first device that uses effective, tested sensory inputs to wake you up and keep you alert.

Best yet..

We’ve built the Shock Clock 2 to work with our Pavlok app to help you start your day strong by leveraging our app to build powerful morning and evening routines.

Here are just a few of the powerful features of the Shock Clock 2!

Advanced Snooze Lock: Shock Clock 2 used motion tracking to know when you’re out of bed and won’t let you cheat. Advanced Jumping Jack shut-off, along with new features like QR/UPC code scanner that will make you get out of bed and leave the room to go scan a QR/UPC code in order to shut off the alarm.

Accountability:  The Shock Clock 2 will let your friends know if you don’t wake up—-and if you don’t get out of bed, optionally give them the ability to zap you awake.

Sleep Cycle Analysis: Shock Clock 2 has automatic sleep tracking using advanced motion detection from a 9-axis accelerometer so you can track your sleep and learn what patterns and habits you can develop to get the best night’s sleep possible!

Morning Routine: Shock Clock 2 comes with a built in Morning Routine schedule so you can set the tasks that are most important for your day and make sure you get them done first thing. If you don’t do your routine, watch out, a zap is coming!

Evening Routine: Shock Clock 2 also has an evening routine reminder that will alert you when it is time to start getting ready for bed and provide you with a checklist of items you choose to prepare for your best night’s sleep.

Imagine having an alarm clock that you don’t have to worry about forgetting at home.

Imagine having an alarm clock that won’t disturb your signifiant other or the rest of the house.

Imagine starting your day full of energy and ready to tackle the day.

With the Shock Clock 2, all that and more is possible.

Whether you’re hearing impaired and your current alarm just isn’t working…

Or your tired of your loved one’s current alarm clock waking you up…

The Shock Clock 2 is one of the best investments you can ever make.
