I’m assuming that you’ve arrived here from this page. If not, that’s kinda weird, and you should read it first.

I was just telling the story about when everything changed.

I was in Budapest.

I had run out of money.

I had to steal bread from a grocery store.

Like Aladdin.

And then — I decided to make a change.

How well do you know the richest men in American history?

There’s one man you definitely know, even if you don’t know his name. That man? J.P. Morgan

Yep — there’s a bank named after him. That’s because he’s basically the inventor of modern finance. He changed the way money works.

And right now, I want to tell you a story about him.

One day, a man approached JP Morgan, held up an envelope, and said, “Sir, in my hand I hold a guaranteed formula for success, which I will gladly sell to you for $25,000.”

“Sir,” JP Morgan replied, “I do not know what is in the envelope. However, if you show me and I like it, I give you my word as a gentleman that I will pay you what you ask.”

The man agreed to the terms and handed over the envelope. JP Morgan opened it, and extracted a single sheet of paper. He gave it one look and handed the piece of paper back to the gent, pulled out his checkbook, and paid the man the agreed-upon $25,000.

The paper read:

Every morning, write a list of the things that need to be done that day.

Do them.

The point is very clear. Most business owners have neither clarity, nor accountability, on what they do every day.

And now, back to my story.

I had to fix my business.

I couldn’t fail like this.

I had to make a change.

So I did two things.

First, I made the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make — I told my team we were out of cash. I let a number of people go. I dropped our costs to something sustainable.

Secondly, I decided to make a real change about myself. I decided to implement one single habit that would change everything.

I decided that I would write down 3 things I would do, every night before bed.

Then, I would do those things.

Seems simple. But it made all the difference.

But, I knew I wouldn’t stick to it alone. I knew I needed to be held accountable — or else I would quickly fall back into the old bad habits that got me where I was.

Successful Entrepreneurs Don’t Do It Alone

Think of all of the most successful businesses you know. The Googles, the Facebooks, the Amazons.

What’s one thing they have in common?

The founders and executives don’t try to succeed alone. They bring in a coach when it matters most.

The fact is, successful companies are never built alone.

But when you’re an entrepreneur, in today’s culture — it feels like you’re supposed to do it alone.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Success isn’t the number of hours you work. Success is the impact you create.

And–if you’re like most early-stage entrepreneurs–you’re not making as big an impact as you want.

If you’re like most, you’re spending your time and energy working IN the business–not ON the business.

Are You Suffering From The Entrepreneur Trap?

Do you find yourself:

  • Dealing with small tasks that you’d rather not do?
  • Acting reactively instead of proactively?
  • Feeling drained and emotionally exhausted because of your business?

If you want to make a big impact — you can’t keep living this way.

With one small adjustment to your business — you won’t have to feel stressed, anxious, and alone.

In my decade (!!!) of helping entrepreneurs, I’ve found that the ones who go from “wantrepreneurs” to “real entrepreneurs” do the following:

  1. They make a true assessment: of their strengths, their weaknesses, where they want to be, and what it will take to get there.

  2. The break down that path into achievable daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly routines.

  3. The biggest step: they engineer an environment that holds them accountable. This means positive rewards, negative consequences, and–most importantly–a human being that keeps them on track.

I had implemented the first two steps of this plan dozens of times — but I never stuck through with it. Small, urgent tasks would grab my attention, and I’d be back to square one.

But when I hit rock bottom—eating bread on the streets of Budapest—I knew it was time to make a change.

The change? I hired a coach.

Now, after witnessing not just the change to my personal well-being, but also to my bank account — I can’t imagine not having someone who helps me set my goals and keeps me accountable.

And I’m proud we can offer the same level of service through Pavlok as well.

Here’s how it works.

1) Schedule a (weekly) call with your Pavlok Coach.

2) With your coach, you’ll design a 90-day plan of habits and goals that will take your business to the next level.

3) Sign in to the Pavlok Coaching App, where you’ll be able to see, add, and check off tasks that are customized for you.

You don’t need to follow the perfect plan. You don’t need to hustle every day or work past midnight. All you have to do is follow the instructions that you committed to with your Coach.

  • Rather than feeling overwhelmed every morning, you’ll have clarity on exactly what you need to achieve to succeed.

  • Rather than waking up late, worried, and miserable, you’ll wake up excited, alert, and ready to make your impact on the world.

  • Rather than trying to get yourself to be productive, you’ll have engineered the perfect system, that makes productivity inevitable.

With one small adjustment to your habits — everything changes.

YOUR COACH IN YOUR POCKET

I’m assuming that you’ve arrived here from this page. If not, that’s kinda weird, and you should read it first.

I was just telling the story about when everything changed.

I was in Budapest.

I had run out of money.

I had to steal bread from a grocery store.

Like Aladdin.

And then — I decided to make a change.

I cracked the code of massive habit change

I cracked the code of massively upgrading my business

More importantly — I cracked the code of massively upgrading YOUR business

Here’s the honest truth.

The secret to success is closer than you think.

The secret to comfort is closer than you think.

The secret is a single, small habit.

The secret is committing to actions you’ll do daily and then doing them.

That’s it.

But for some reason, we make it so hard.

We let ourselves react to “urgent” tasks, instead of doing the important things.

We let ourselves become reactionary, instead of proactive.

And if you want to massively upgrade your business –it’s time to make a change.

The code is simple.

Achieve clarity in what you should do. This is encapsulated by:

Do three things every day.

Achieving the code is a little harder.

How do we get ourselves to:

1) Commit to three things every day

2) Do those three things every day

But achieving that code — and skyrocketing your business — isn’t impossible. If you’ve ever studied psychology, you’ll understand it instantly.

You need just a few factors.

1) Positive Reinforcement — You need to be rewarded when you set your goals, and when you achieve your goals.

2) Negative Reinforcement — You need a consequence if you fail. If you don’t have a consequence — you’ll never get started.

3) Accountability — You need to be held accountable to your commitments. If you simply say, “I’m going to start writing down what I’ll do and then do them!!!” — you’ll make it a few days, and then devolve as soon as some fire comes up.

But if someone:

1) ensures you suffer the consequence when you fail

2) but also encourages you with your positive reward when you succeed

3) and most importantly — makes sure you don’t cheat

Everything Changes.

How do I know this?

Because everything changed for me.

Within three months of implementing this change:

  • 1) I completely turned my business around. Instead of losing $20,000-$30,000/mo — we generated $30,000-50,000 / mo in profit
  • 2) I no longer felt controlled by my business — but instead, I knew I was just three tasks away from succeed.
  • 3) My users began to succeed more than I ever thought possible. Not only was I more successful — but the success trickled down to my clients, who quickly hit results they’d always dreamed of.

I knew I had stumbled on something enormous.

I had solved a fundamental problem.

And I decided to build something for you. Something that could help you achieve the same results that I did.
