What Is Rise?

Rise is the brand new morning routine app + wearable from Pavlok. It is the first Pavlok product to focus specifically on habit formation (not habit breaking). It will help you get to bed on time, make sure you wake up early, and guide you through the formation of a healthy morning routine. Choose from dozens of famous routines (like Albert Einstein’s or Tim Ferriss’) or create your own custom routine. Rise will then help you stick to that routine every day with guided instructions and regular check-ins, while allowing you to see your progress and interact with others who are on the journey to forming a healthier and happier morning.

How Is Rise Different Than Current Pavlok?

The Rise app is different from the Pavlok app because it is about habit formation, whereas the Pavlok app is about habit breaking. Both act as guides and hubs for your habit change journey, but with different focuses and tools to help you achieve your goals.

How Is Rise Different Than Current Shock Clock?

The Rise is different from Shock Clock because it is about your entire morning routine, not just sleep tracking and alarm. The Rise adds additional planning, accountability, and community tools and features that the Shock Clock does not have.

Will Rise Come With All Of The Features Of Shock Clock And Pavlok?

Rise is a brand new app that is separate from the current Pavlok app used by the Shock Clock and Pavlok. Rise buyers who are new to the Pavlok community will begin with only the Rise app unlocked, and they will be able to unlock additional modules & features (like the Pavlok habit breaking app) by completing their daily goals, checking in, and other in-app tasks. Current Pavlok or Shock Clock users who purchase Rise will maintain their current level of app access, while also gaining all of the Rise features.

To make it simple: you will never have less than you currently have, and you will always be able to gain access to more by earning in-app credits to unlock new features.

What Are The Differences Between The Current Pavlok Hardware And Pavlok S?

The new Pavlok S features a more powerful processor, upgraded accelerometer/gyroscope (9-axis compared to Pavlok’s 3-axis), and improved bluetooth radio for more reliable pairing. Pavlok S also has a brand new LED light configuration that will allow it to give you more silent notifications. Both feature haptic notifications in the form of LED, beep, vibration, and electric stimulus. Thanks to Pavlok S’s upgraded microprocessor, it will now be able to provide complex haptic feedback patterns, allowing for even greater possibilities. Because the original Pavlok does not have a powerful enough processor to handle Rise’s complex tracking and advanced haptic patterns, it will not work with the new Rise app – only Pavlok S will be compatible with Rise. Are Pavlok And Shock Clock Going Away? Will They Still Work?

The current hardware for Pavlok and Shock Clock will be replaced by the new Pavlok S hardware starting in September 2017. Your current Pavlok and Shock Clock will continue to work, even after the new hardware is introduced. They will maintain the current level of functionality and features, though we will no longer be offering firmware updates or new features. We’ve maxed out the capabilities of the current microprocessor, and we cannot add any more lines of code to program new features. If you’d like to upgrade, you will be able to do so for a deep discount.

Do Current Pavlok And Shock Clock Owners Get A Discount On Rise?

Yes! Absolutely. We want to reward you for being a loyal Pavlok customer. Although current Pavlok and Shock Clock will continue to function just fine and you will not be forced to upgrade, we do want to encourage current users to step up to the next generation of hardware.
